YES! Explorers Challenge 2027

Get ready to explore, discover, and create at the 2027 YES! Explorers Challenge!

Join Yavapai Exploration and Science (YES!) on Saturday, May 8, 2027, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at A.C. Williams Granite Creek Park for a day filled with hands-on STEAM adventures, creative challenges, and family fun.

Young explorers will make their way through interactive activity stations designed to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and inspire a love of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Families can work together to complete challenges, try something new, and experience just how much fun learning through exploration can be.

The YES! Explorers Challenge brings together families, community organizations, volunteers, and local supporters for a celebration of curiosity and discovery. Community partners will join YES! with engaging activities and resources, creating even more opportunities for children to explore, learn, and grow.

Last year's Explorers Challenge welcomed 236 attendees, 42 volunteers, 5 community partners, 20 event sponsors, and 16 in-kind sponsors. We are excited to build on that success and make the 2027 event another incredible day for Yavapai County families.

Whether your child loves building, experimenting, creating, investigating, or simply trying something new, there will be something for everyone to discover at the YES! Explorers Challenge.
